Organizational structure of Union Parishad

 

The organizational structure of the Union Parishad is given below:

    Each union council consists of nine wards.
    One chairman was elected in every union council.
    Each ward is elected a member of a local person.
    A woman member is elected in three wards.
    The candidates and members are elected directly by the residents of the union.
    After every five years the union council was elected and the chairman and the members were selected.
