Meghna river is in the heart of the huge charland beauty of Himalchar upazila in Chandpur district.
Suitable for building large tourism centers and agricultural industrial parks of Bangladesh.
Inshallah, if found on the basis of government, then our upazila will open new areas of resources and possibilities of the country.
Most areas of Haimchar upazila are on the banks of the Padma-Meghna river. And in these four upazilas there are 40 chars. District and Upazila Sadar people have to come for daily work and treatment in these grazing areas. That's why their only vehicle for communication is the engine driven boat (trawler). So, at the risk of life, children, men and women for the treatment were brought to the trawler in the district headquarters.
According to the Chandpur Water Development Board, the meghna of the district is 360.11 km. Meghna estuarine is situated on the banks of the river Padma-Meghna and Dakatia. Since these rivers flow from three directions, there is a huge cyclone of water. This whirlwind makes the area risky for shipping. Officially Chandpur has been identified as the most risky waterway. In the rainy season, poles are placed in the shape of round circles in the middle of this estuary, one kilometer in the middle. By this time, many trawlers of the pastures crossed the Padma-Meghna with the passengers.
